I’m fighting the daily fires, and can’t see the long term plan.

MFM says . . .

There’s just no time for you to see the long term plan. You’re too busy dousing water on those flames and, at this point, you have no other choice. Start to identify some very small tasks that you perform that someone else in the organization could do. It may take some training and direction, but in short order they could take some of these tasks off of you. For the bigger tasks, you may find that you are at the size that an assistant for yourself is necessary, but you can’t afford one. This is a huge Catch-22 for small business owners. It takes money to grow and it takes growth to have the money. Frequently, hiring the right person, doing the right things, frees you up to grow the business beyond your wildest dreams. It’s worth it to have a tighter cash flow for a short period under these circumstances.
