It’s time to sit back and do some longer term planning. Take some time, away from the office, to perform this task. Go to your beach house, a ski resort or wherever you’ve found you can relax. This process might include some of your key management staff as well. Make a list of your company’s strengths and weaknesses. Make another list of the opportunities and threats outside of your business. Brainstorm how the company strengths can take advantage of the opportunities available to you. You’ll begin to see the next level.
