Plant Work Flow In Changing Times

At some point in time, everyone started with a nice, smooth, and logical plant work flow. Every work flow has a basic set of assumptions from which it operates. Some of these assumptions include: the number of pieces designed to be processed per hour, the type of equipment available, the product mix being processed, and the points of distribution. Although it seems, sometimes, that very little has changed on the production floor, even small changes in these circumstances can have a tremendous impact in timely and cost effective processing of the product.
