I have a negative cash flow. How do I get out of my hole.

You’ve been using the "pile" method of bill paying. You put all of the bills that need to be paid in a pile. Then you sort through the pile and see what you have to pay based on which vendor is yelling the loudest.

In order to get out of this viscous loop, you develop a plan with two parts. The first part puts your normal operations on a positive cash flow by raising revenues and/or cutting costs. Next, you put all past due invoices on hold, contact each vendor and negotiate a payback plan that both they and you can live with.
